Dear Woodard Girls' parents, girls and friends,

Welcome to the Woodard Girls’ blog site! We are a very busy house with the girls involving themselves fully in so many different activities that it is sometimes hard to keep track! The aim of this site is to keep you all up to date with their activities and achievements. I aim to update the blog every Monday afternoon, so please do come back and visit it on a regular basis.

Happy Birthday Hannah!

Hannah celebrates her 18th this weekend and to get into the birthday mood she brought in cake to share with the girls. Thank you Hannah and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Christmas Dinner

We had a lovely Christmas dinner and enjoyed spending time with our support staff guests. Miss Gall and Mr. Bennetts gave some speeches, as did the Heads of Houses. We'd like to thank the catering staff for all their hard work, as well as the matrons, students and staff who helped with the setting up and clearing away. Have a very Happy Christmas Woodard Girls :)

House Hockey

It was many of the girls' last chance to play school hockey today in the annual House Hockey competition. The girls played really well, losing only one match and came second overall. In their final match, the score was an impressive 7-0!!

Secret Santa

This morning we all enjoyed the finale of House Secret Santa. The presents were very generous and the girls had a lovely morning, getting into the Christmas spirit ready for holidays.

Santa & Colour run

Mr Lovat organised a very successful Santa/colour run for the last Sunday of the term. The money raised was for MSF (Medicine sans Frontieres) in partnership with Doctors Adrift, two doctors who are rowing the Indian Ocean next year to raise money for MSF. Our girls helped with the Jazzercise warm up, collecting money, throwing paint...the works!

The girls really enjoyed it - a cold and early Sunday morning wake up call but well worth it!

Happy Thanksgiving

Before we get too tied up in Christmas preparations, our American students celebrated Thanksgiving. One of our parents sent down Turkey and all the trimmings from London, but the students really appreciated it. One things for sure, we are thankful for them being in this House!

Haunted House?

Halloween has come early to the blue floor....some of our girls really did get in the spirit this year!
